Do you have anything to sell?

 

 

Bea’s Boutique operates an appointment system to bring in clothes to sell. Appointments are available from 9am – 2:30pm on a Wednesday, 9am – 4pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays and 10am-3:30pm on Saturdays. No appointments are available on Fridays.

 

During the appointment your stock will be checked for suitability to sell. Anything not suitable to sell can either be passed to charity by ourselves or taken away with you. We aim to price the clothes within 48 hours of the appointment.

 

We will take from each customer a maximum of 15 items per appointment, to INCLUDE accessories (shoes, hats, bags and scarves) and jewellery. You will be able to make one appointment each week. As a general guide stock will be taken on a seasonal basis, with Spring/Summer stock being taken in early Spring/Summer and Autumn/Winter stock being taken in late summer/Autumn. Check the website or call the shop for exact dates.

 

All the clothes we take must be in good condition, freshly cleaned, with all the buttons and zips working. If they are marked, too old or well worn they simply won’t go out in the shop. They also have to be fairly up to date, or a timeless classic – sorry, we don’t do loft clearance. When you hand in your items, you will be given a customer number, which will be put on all items before they go into the shop for sale.

 

Bea’s Boutique has two rates of commission. If you are happy for anything unsuitable or unsold to be passed onto charity, the commission will be 50% of any sales. If you would like any unsuitable or unsold items to be returned to you, you will receive 40% of the sale price.

 

Items will be priced to sell by the shop staff, unless you are looking for a certain price on select items of clothing. Please identify any specific items to us when you bring your clothes in to sell along with the rough price that you are looking to receive. Once your items go out into the shop they will be there for three clear months. During the third month, items will be reduced by 25%. If they have not sold after this time they will be taken off the racks and either returned to you or sent to charity. Please note all items are left at the owner’s risk.
